| ONE LIFE ONE CHANCE What’s the mission? With God on our side we want to meet the challenge and reach out to those who are unable to help themselves. We will raise the money we need and we will work hard to make a difference in the life of some of the poorest people in Mexico. Ranchers own most of the work throughout the state and have their employees live on the site, working in fields that turn out much of our West Coast produce. Many of theses families have been locked in a migrant camp. They are limited in jobs, wages and means to build a home and life. A cycle has been set for children to grow up uneducated, working in poor conditions and for extremely low wages. For seven days we will go and work in the transient work camps of the Mexican Baja. We will build shelters for children and poor families and we will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Baja California is filled with men, women, and children desperately in need of a helping hand. |
