Welcome to Grace International Baptist Church!
We are a small multicultural church in the heart of the Victoria-Fraserview neighbourhood in Vancouver, with a mission to "make disciples of all people through worship, instruction, fellowship, and evangelism.”
We love to reach out and serve our community through free ESL Classes, Daycare and Out of School Care, and many other events throughout the year. To grow deeper in our faith and closer to one another, we meet during the week in Life Groups.
The centre of our community happens through church services every Sunday morning, where we gather to sing, hear messages from the Bible, and (once a month) eat delicious meals together.
Answers to common questions about Sunday Mornings
What time do you start?
At 10:30am we have a time for coffee, tea, snacks, and conversation together. At 11:00am our service begins, and usually finishes between 12:00-12:15pm. On the first Sunday of the month, we have a potluck meal together after the service!
Where are you located?
Our address is 7650 Jasper Crescent, Vancouver. Click here to see us on Google Maps.
If you’re taking transit, we are walking distance from bus routes 20 and 100.
Is there Childcare?
We offer Sunday School during our service for children ages 3-12, as well as a nursery.
What about Parking & accessibility?
We have a large parking lot, and there is street parking on Jasper Crescent as well.
Our church is wheelchair accessible from the North entrance in the parking lot (if door is locked, press buzzer).
What’s your service like?
Our service is a mixture of traditional and contemporary. Depending on the Sunday, you might find us singing hymns or the latest Hillsong track. Sermons are usually around 30 minutes.
We pass the offering plate every Sunday, but visitors should not feel obligated to give. Giving a tithe is a regular act of worship that our members choose to do in order to thank the Lord for his generosity and to support our ministries.
Do you celebrate The Lord’s Supper?
On the first Sunday of every month we celebrate communion together. We invite all Christians to join us in taking the bread and cup. If you are unsure if you should be taking communion, please ask somebody!
Is there a Dress Code?
Nope! Wear what you want to wear (although socks and sandals are discouraged for fashion reasons).
I have more questions. Who can i contact about them?
